Opal Galaxy

This is a speed paint of an original character I've had a long time named Galatea. She is half Listian (an alien race that is same as my Xana character's) and half human with iridescent opal-like skin and hair. I used a new technique I read in Photoshop magazine on how to make a color swatches from photos. I used a photo of an opal and painted her entirely from that on a dark purple background. I think she turned out really cute!
